Kapok
Kapok is a natural alternative to conventional pillow stuffing. Harvested in the rain forest, kapok is soft to the touch like down, yet provides support in a way not even synthetic materials can match. The harvesting of the kapok pods provides jobs to indigenous people and helps maintain this vanishing ecosystem. Every Ceiba (Kapok) tree left standing is a step towards the preservation of the rain forest

Virgin Wool
Wool draws moisture away from the body, keeping a layer of insulating dry air next to the skin leaving you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. A natural temperature regulator, wool's countless tiny coils are able to absorb moisture without feeling damp, drawing it away from your body so that it can evaporate. Wool is naturally flame retardant. It cradles your body as you sleep and bounces back to it's original loft when you get out of bed. If you can bear to! Wool will provide the most dry, healthful and comfy sleeping surface for years on end. Our wool is 100% virgin lambs wool that has only been washed with a mild detergent.

Green Cotton
The cotton we use to make our standard products is known as "green" cotton. This means that once it is harvested from the bolls it is unprocessed - no bleaches, dyes or fungicides. This cotton makes good pillows and mattresses. Our green cotton comes in layers cut to size of crib, twin, double/full, queen or king mattresses. We also have smaller pieces good for making pillows and cushions.
